It’s that time of year again. We’ve reached the final 2 months of the year where life feels as though it goes into overdrive and we just blast through one holiday after the next, each with bigger and flashier expectations than the last. You think you have it all together; you learned from last year, and you have a rock-solid game plan. The menus are planned, decorations on the ready, and a stockpile of toilet paper and hand sanitizer are stashed away.
But wait! You can’t show up to your Friendsgiving empty handed! And bless your heart if you arrive at the in-law’s without a dutiful hostess gift in hand for the family's annual turkey fry. As if you didn’t already have enough on your plate, you also must ensure that you have a unique and thoughtful hostess gift for the multitude of social engagements that you have in the upcoming months.
Although never explicitly necessary, though always appreciated, a genuine hostess gift can be as simple as a bottle of wine or a bouquet of flowers. It truly is the thought that counts. But let’s face it: We’ve all had one heck of a year. If you know a gracious host or hostess that is opting to entertain a group gathering this season, why not show a little extra appreciation. And maybe bring that extra bottle of wine. At this point, haven’t we earned it?
Take the hassle out of choosing a hostess gift!
